In recent years, the EdTech sector has witnessed tremendous growth. This is driven by the increasing demand for digital learning solutions, remote education, and personalized learning experiences. For this reason, TIME and Statista aimed to identify the organizations at the forefront of leveraging technology to enhance education and learning processes (EdTech). Through this project, readers, investors, and stakeholders gain profound insights into a rapidly growing and crucial industry.
The results of this quantitative study have identified 250 companies transforming the educational technology sector. Notably, Everest Education is proud to be ranked 58th on this list. This recognition is a testament to the relentless efforts of the teachers and staff at Everest Education in delivering effective educational solutions for students.
Criteria for Evaluation and Ranking
The ranking is based on two criteria: financial strength and industry impact. Statista collected and examined data from over 7,000 companies through desk research, online application forms, and collaboration with market intelligence and data companies. Each company received scores in these aspects, which were then combined into an overall score.
For the first factor, financial strength, Statista analyzed revenue, employee count, and funding data, collected from public sources such as annual reports, company websites, and databases.
Industry impact was evaluated by considering the influence of the products and services these companies offer, as well as their ability to drive innovation and improve the quality of education.
Statista and TIME also released a “Rising Stars” ranking to highlight organizations with the highest revenue growth over the past three years.
