The Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan was ranked 50th in the Government Efficiency Index compiled by the World Economic Forum. Through this program, applicants have that opportunity to choose any undergraduate, or postgraduate, or PhD studies at any university in Kazakhstan. Total 160 awards will be granted and its amount will be based on the applicant’s chosen degree program. Each successful scholar will get the amount worth up to $10,000. To be eligible, applicants must be an International student commencing any UNSW Arts & Social Sciences undergraduate single degree or an approved dual degree. Knight Visiting Nieman Fellows utilize the extensive resources at Harvard and MIT, including local scholars, research centers and libraries, to achieve concrete results, either developing a project that can be completed during the time spent at Harvard or as part of a larger undertaking that continues after the fellowship period ends. The application requires biographical information, a résumé or curriculum vitae, contact information for three professional references, and a 600-word project proposal as an essay that describes the project you plan to pursue as a visiting fellow at Harvard.
