Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) is offering a scholarship program to attract outstanding and deserving talents to pursue undergraduate education at SUTD. The scholarship is valued at S$15,000 per annum for the normal duration (up to four years) of the respective degree programmes at SUTD, subject to good academic standing and other terms. The quantum will be used towards the recipient’s annual subsidised tuition fees. The program will also cover hostel fees for the entire duration of the fresh-more year. This scholarship is sponsored by Hexacon Construction Private Limited, therefore, winning candidates may also be granted internship and/or career opportunities with Hexacon Construction or its designated companies.
The Holland Scholarship, financed by the Dutch Ministry of Education, Culture and Science, is meant for international students from outside the European Economic Area (EEA) who want to do their bachelor’s or master’s at one of the Dutch research universities and universities of applied sciences in Holland. The College of Wooster is sponsoring “Wooster International Scholarship”, based on both merit and financial need, for high calibre international students for the academic year 2019-20 in the U.S. The program is open for both first-year or transfer students in order to pursue the undergraduate degree coursework at the College of Wooster. To receive this award, applicants must apply for the undergraduate degree coursework in any of their chosen subjects at the College of Wooster for the academic year 2019-20. Successful applicants will receive an amount of $5,000 to $30,000 per academic year based on academic talent, contributions to the high school and local community. The Wooster International Scholarship is renewable annually for each year that the student is in good standing at the College.
University of York, Canada, is having the York Science Scholars Award – awarded to domestic and international students admitted to the Faculty of Science. Selection is based on high academic achievement, a demonstrated passion for science and community service, demonstrated leadership skills, the desire to make a difference for their communities and demonstrated involvement beyond academics. York Science Scholars will receive a $10,000 entrance scholarship which will be awarded in two parts. The first is awarded as an entrance scholarship, and the second part is awarded once the experiential component is successfully completed. The scholarship will be both need-based and merit-based.
