If you’re looking for other ways to help your child gain the skills she needs, we’ve picked our some favorite math apps. They work for a variety of ages, for different learning goals, and some are even aligned to U.S. Common Core State Standards.

At Everest, we always question ourselves how to make Math more fun, more interesting that students can get it and love it. And CPA is the answer. CPA method is a “signature” style of teaching Math in Singapore, which is proven to be the most effective way to help young kids learn math in a more fun, tangible way.

Rating yourself or having someone else rate you is very uncomfortable. But when we as teachers and parents do it out of love, without judgment, we create an opportunity for children to objectively critique themselves. This is such an important skill in order to be able to learn better and learn faster.

Brain-boosting food for your child

“Teens need healthy brain food.”, say Stanford experts. Most students rely on junk food, coffee and energy drinks while cramming for exams, which may lead to many negative effects in the long run. Instead of restricting “bad” food, we suggest our parents focus on adding whole nutritious ones. Eating the right food gives students’s brain nutritional support, which helps them perform at the highest level. So, parents, what are you going to add to their kid’s daily eating list?
